I believe style is the surest way to feel empowered and clothes should reflect the person wearing them. For most of my life, I have struggled to decide which half of my brain I wanted to use in my career: the analytical side or the creative side. But why choose? Merchandising allows me to use both!

Aside from fashion, I love a home cooked meal, a dirty martini, a cheesy romance novel, playing the piano, diet coke, going to the movies, a good sale, and learning personal facts about baristas.

When people ask me for fashion advice, I remind them that it is not about what you wear, but how you wear it. So, pick things you like and don’t let your clothes wear you.
